Shipping Policy

We get it—nothing kills the joy of online shopping faster than discovering a hefty shipping fee at checkout.

That’s why we’re doing things a little differently here at Petitou: We offer free shipping on every item sitewide! (Exclusions apply, but we’ll explain!)

🚛 Where do we ship from?

Our warehouse is based in beautiful Vancouver, BC, where every package is wrapped with care (and lots of tape).

🏙 Free Shipping Zones

We currently offer free shipping to the following major areas:

  • British Columbia - Greater Vancouver Area (GVA); main urban areas in Vancouver Island
  • Ontario - main urban areas
  • Edmonton - main urban areas
  • Calgary - main urban areas
  • Regina & Saskatoon - main urban areas

Live in one of these zones? Your shipping’s on us - no extra charge, no surprises.

🌲 What about the rest of Canada?

Some areas may require a modest shipping fee — we’re sorry about that, but we promise it’s a fair and reasonable rate.
And unfortunately, there are regions we can’t ship to just yet. We’re truly sorry! 😢

Canada has more postal codes than we have toys (and that’s saying something), so instead of listing them all, here’s the easy way to check:

👉 Simply enter your postal code at checkout – and we’ll instantly let you know if shipping is free or if there’s a small additional charge.

But hey, if you fall in love with something and can’t check out due to your location, shoot us an email at petitou2024@gmail.com – we’ll do our best to calculate the actual shipping cost and make magic happen.

📦 A note on bulky items

Some larger items may incur additional shipping fees. We’ll always let you know upfront, either on the product page or during checkout. Thanks for understanding!

* Please note that the shipping fee covers only the cost of sending your order. If you wish to return an item, return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a quality issue.

* Refused shipments and shipments that are not picked up at designated shipping depots will be considered returns and will incur return shipping charges.

* All in-stock orders will be shipped within 2-3 business days. In case of any delays, we will communicate with you promptly. Please note that our carriers typically do not deliver on weekends.

* We do our absolute best to keep our shipping info accurate and up to date.

That said, Canada’s geography can be a little tricky (hello, remote wilderness 🌲), and in rare cases, we may not be able to fulfill an order even if the checkout goes through. If that happens, we’ll get in touch with you right away and issue a full refund.
